An Event Introducing the “From Yesterday to Today, From Today to Tomorrow: Accounting and Finance, and Accounting and Tax Practices” Program Was Held

The event titled “From Yesterday to Today, From Today to Tomorrow: Introduction to the Accounting and Finance and Accounting and Taxation Programs,” organized by Turhal Vocational School, was held in the conference hall of Turhal Akşemseddin Trade Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.

The event was attended by Ahmet Koç, Acting Head of the Accounting and Taxation Department at our college, Erdem Kanışlı, and a group of students from the Accounting and Taxation Applications Program and the Business Administration Program.

The program was attended by Murat Kılıç, Principal of Turhal Akşemseddin Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, along with accounting and finance teachers Eylem Erol, Ümmühan Vanlı, Murat Sevin, and Talip Kunt, as well as students from the accounting and finance department.

Speaking at the event, Erdem Kanışlı discussed: shared valuable insights with the participants on the origins of accounting and finance concepts, the changes in the field of accounting and finance parallel to the historical and cultural stages humanity has undergone, financial literacy, the use of artificial intelligence in accounting and finance, the benefits it provides in this field, the future of the accounting profession, and the knowledge, experience, and characteristics that individuals aspiring to become accounting professionals should possess. The professor was thanked for his presentations, which were followed with great interest by the participants.

Thanks were also extended to Murat Kılıç, Principal of Turhal Akşemseddin Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which hosted the event; to the teachers and students in the accounting and finance department; to Ahmet Koç, Acting Head of the Accounting and Taxation Department, for his participation and contributions; and to the students in our college’s Accounting and Taxation Practices and Business Administration programs.
