Educational activities are continuing uninterrupted as part of the “Conscious Generations, Independent Future” project, prepared by our university’s Addiction Prevention Coordination Office and carried out in collaboration with Yeşilay.

As part of the project, an event was held at the Turhal Faculty of Applied Sciences, with the participation of our academic staff and students, where awareness training on substance abuse prevention was provided. In the programs organized with the contributions of expert trainers, the focus was on types of addiction, risk factors, and prevention methods, while important information was shared to help young people make more informed choices.

Our university aims to reach approximately 34,000 students through this project, which prioritizes public health. It was stated that the training sessions will continue in the coming period at different faculties and campuses.

Through this comprehensive initiative, the goal is to contribute to raising young people to become more informed, resilient, and strong individuals capable of resisting addiction.
