THE “FUTURE OF ACCOUNTING AS A PROFESSION” EVENT WAS HELD WITH HIGH PARTICIPATION

The professional development and career event titled “The Future of Accounting as a Profession,” organized by the Accounting and Taxation and Management and Organization Departments of our Vocational School, was held on March 12, 2026, at the Turhal Vocational School Conference Hall. The event was attended by the Director of our Vocational School, Dr. Ebubekir Yaşar, our academic staff, and our students.

The program featured speakers Mustafa Kaya, President of the Tokat Chamber of Certified Public Accountants, and Certified Public Accountants Sümeyye Koç and Özlem Usluer. The speakers provided information to the participants about the current state of the accounting profession, the effects of digitalization on the profession, and the career opportunities that may arise in the field of accounting in the future. The event ended with a question-and-answer session following a productive discussion that contributed to the professional development of the students.
