The Turhal Vocational School 2025 Advisory Board Regular Meeting was held on 11 December 2025 at the Turhal Vocational School Meeting Hall. The meeting was chaired by the Director of the Vocational School, Assis. Prof. Dr. Ebubekir YAŞAR, and attended by academic staff and industry representatives.

During the meeting, the mission, vision, and educational objectives of our Vocational School and its affiliated departments were evaluated, and it was emphasised that the current structures are in line with current needs. Furthermore, it was stated that the successful completion of the accreditation process for the Accounting and Taxation Applications Programme was welcomed, and that other programmes are being prepared for the accreditation process.

The Advisory Board members were informed about the protocol signed between our Vocational School and the Turhal Chamber of Commerce and Industry within the scope of the professional cooperation agreement between TOBB and YÖK. The information that preparations were being made in our unit to transition to the 3+1/2+2 education system in order to achieve the protocol's objectives and improve the quality of vocational education was shared with industry representatives.

While it was decided to continue implementing the 2024 Advisory Board decisions in the same manner, it was noted that the contributions of sector representatives to practical courses enhance student quality and that continuing this cooperation is important. It was stated that sector representatives will continue to support talks, seminars, and events at our Vocational School.

Industry representatives emphasised the importance of our Vocational School's programmes keeping pace with the times and incorporating ‘Artificial Intelligence’ courses into their curricula in line with educational content, especially in these days of the artificial intelligence revolution.

It was emphasised that the work carried out within the scope of the quality assurance system continues uninterrupted and that strengthening cooperation with stakeholders is among the priorities. As there were no other items on the agenda to discuss, the meeting was adjourned.

As Turhal Vocational School, we would like to thank all the institution representatives and stakeholders who participated in the meeting.
